WORKSHOP
ON CELL DEATH
Due to the success of last century's Workshops on Cell Death, we are announcing
THE THIRD EUROPEAN WORKSHOP ON CELL DEATH
which will be held in
Salobreņa,
Spain, February 23rd-28th, 2002.
The
Workshop on Cell Death will hopefully be as interesting and stimulating as the
previous ones. Once again we aim to bring together a group of young scientists
selected on the basis of the novelty of their abstracts. Topics will include
caspases, anti- and pro-apoptotic mechanisms, TNF family members, clinical
aspects of apoptosis. Of the maximum 100 participants, about 75 will be asked to
present their work in the form of a short lecture and ample time will be
allocated to discussion. 40 of these speakers will be students or postdocs, who
can participate free of charge. The registration and accommodation fee for the
remaining participants will be only 200 Euro (about $200).
